Our slates are all made by hand and will each look very different according to slate shape and photo chosen. Each slate comes in choice of colring. You can choose black and white, full color or antique, which is more of a brown look. You should consider the photo you are using to determine which would look best. Even if your original is color we can change it to one of the others. YOU GET YOUR ORIGINAL BACK. We simply need to scan it or receive a large enough digital image from you for the project.

The personalization offered with these slates really make these the most unique gifts around. You simply email us a story or personal information to add to the story on the back of the slate and now the slate has become not only a beautiful keepsake but a story telling piece of art as well. They offer a unique decor that adds style to any room. Each slate comes complete with the history of painting on slate on the backside.
